Description
The Scottish & Newcastle brewery at Holyrood Road was proposed as the site of a new visitor attraction, shops, houses and hotels in January 1988. The site, unoccupied since 1986, was to be gifted by S&N to the Younger Universe later Our Dynamic Earth foundation. Picture shows Alick Rankin, chief executive of S&N and Sir Hew Hamilton Dalrymple, foundation chairman.
