Pope John Paul II is walks past the statue of John Knox in Edinburgh during the Papal visit to Scotland in May 1982. The historic meeting with Right reverend John McIntyre, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland took place in the courtyard of the Assembly Hall.
