Jim Poole who died on January 16th 1998 was a dominant figure on the Scottish cinema scene from the early 1930s. He is pictured sitting on a bench on the site of the Synod Hall, a cinema his family ran. He was also managing director of the Cameo Cinema. PUBDATE_TS_01_18_1998_01_21
