Description
The New Palace cinema which was situated in the High Street between Tweeddale Court and Fountain Close. It was owned by P. S. L. Lucas. It opened in 1929 with the film Her New Chauffeur and closed when it s leae expired on September 22nd 1956. The last films to be shown were Captain Kidd , Smart Boys and East Side Kids .
