Description
The Shanklin, a pleasure cruiser, was bought as a sister ship to the Waverley and renamed Prince Ivanhoe in November 1980. Based on the Clyde, the ill-fated ship was involved in at least three accidents and was eventually beached at Eynon in South Wales after hitting a submerged object in August 1981. Neither of these men has been identified.
