The men of First Gordon Highlanders regiment at Salisbury Crags in a re-enactment of one of their most famous battles - the storming of the Dargai Heights in Afghanistan in 1897, when the troops were inspired by piper George Findlater s rendition of Cock o the North. Picture taken in August 1980.
