Description
Mr and Mrs Johnstone Barr were witnesses for the prosecution when Sandy Crawford, former provost of Falkirk District Council, was sentenced to three years for fraud at Stirling High Court in June 1980. Elizabeth Barr used a hidden microphone to trap Crawford, who took money on the pretext of easing through their pub licence application.
