Blackpooo tram No 158 near the Marton Depot left on Whitegate Drive in 1952. The Saddle Pub is in the background. Blackpool Historical. The Marton tram route ran from Talbot Square via Church Street, Whitegate Drive and Waterloo Road to Middle Lane now Central Drive and then onto Central Station. The Marton route opened in 1901 and closed in 1962 Blackpool Tramways book
