Description
Baines Endowed School , Marton Green now Oxford Square was built in 1838 on the site of an earlier school and was replaced itself in 1897. This building was demolished in the 1920s as part of the programme to improve the junction of Whitegate Drive and Oxford Square. Undated Blackpool Historical Published EG 17 06 1989
