New traffic lights had just been installed at the junction of Marton Drive, Watson Road and St Annes Road when this photograph was taken in 1947 looking up Marton Drive . Bicycles seemed to be more numerous than cars and the delivery lorry of Woodhouse & Son coal merchants would have been a familiar sight. Blackpool Historical Dated 03 06 1947 Published GH 21 06 1947
