As the number of greenhouses in this photograph from 1975 show, Marton Moss was famous for it s market gardening and Blackpool tomatoes were renowned for their flavour. In recent years many of these greenhouses in the Sandy Lane area have been demolished. Blackpool Historical Dated 25 03 1975
