PICTURE POST: A walker walks through one of the 24 arches on the Ribblehead Viaduct, which was designed by John Sydney Crossley and started in 1870 with the building finished in 1874 . It is the longest viaduct on the Settle Carlisle railway and took 1,000 navvies to build the viaduct.
