Edinburgh Festival 1958 General Randolph Pate, Commandant of the United States Marine Corps, is presented with a silver cigarette case by Mr Robert L Buell, a former American Consul-General in the American Consulate in Edinburgh today. The presentation is to mark the occasion of the first contingent of any kind from America to appear in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
