Liz McColgan then known by her maiden name Liz Lynch looks close to tears after winning a gold medal in the 10000m at the 1986 Commonwealth Games Edinburgh held at Meadowbank stadium, July 1986. Silver went to left Anne Audain of New Zealand and bronze to Angela Tooby of Wales.
