Dr Charles Gillies sniffs a Skoal Bandit, a small pouch of chewing tobacco oral snuff made by US Tobacco Inc. , who were given a grant of just under £200,000 to build a distribution centre at East Kilbride. Public pressure grew to ban the product after reports suggesting a link with oral cancer.
