Description
Reverend David Shawcross right with Councillor George Innes and two of the villagers threatened with eviction by their feu superior the Earl of Seafield in 1984. Reverend Shawcross chaired the Amos Group which fought Seafield Estates. Householders who thought they had bought their homes were told the land was leasehold and the 99-year lease had run out.
