Description
Five people were killed and 52 hurt in a collision between passenger trains at Invergowrie in October 1979. The 8. 44 Glasgow-Dundee service lost power at Invergowrie and was struck by the 9. 35 Glasgow-Aberdeen train travelling behind throwing three carriages into the Tay estuary.
