His wife covers the face of John Pears, one of eleven men tried at Glasgow High Court in June 1979, accused of bombing three Glasgow pubs pub bombings and conspiring to aid the Ulster Volunteer Force UVF . The other accused were: Stewart Ross, William Campbell, Colin Campbell, George Martin, John Thomson, Peter Duffy, Angus McKenna, Robert Kane, Alastair Von, George Menzies.
