Description
A Glasgow-bound Easter holiday special train left Paisley s Gilmour Street railway station and crashed head-on with an electric train at Wellneuk Junction on April 16 1979. Seven people were killed, including both train drivers, 63 injured and an inquiry established a signal was passed at danger SPAD .
