Description
Scots poet Hugh MacDiarmid real name Christopher Grieve was buried at Langholm in the Scottish Borders in September 1978. A group of mourners, including fellow poet Norman McCaig right and miners leader Mick McGahey 2nd left , with MacDiarmid s widow at the graveside.
