Glasgow businessman Hugh Fraser at a meeting with shareholders of Scottish & Universal Investments SUITS in August 1977. By that time, gambling debts and accounting problems meant parts of the company were sold to Tiny Rowland s company Lonrho. The shareholders vote against the Committee proposals.
