Description
18 june 2011. An unusual place to find poetry. As the A62 leaves Marsden and heads over the Pennine hills if you look to your left above the Standedge railway tunnel air shafts you will see the impressive rock formations of Pule Hill and hidden inside there you ll find the workings of an old quarry and this poem inscribed into the rocks. Pictured is a family walking over the rocks. Nikon D3S 145mm
