Description
Carr Bridge, the old bridge spanning the River Dulnain, Carrbridge, Inverness-shire. Very little of the old bridge remains apart from this arch ring. When the bridge was built in 1717 by John Niccelsone from Ballindalloch, it was 2 metres wide. It was built originally as a funeral bridge to reach the burial ground at the Church at Duthil. 11 02 09, TSPL, Scotsman, Cairngorm Mountains, Tourism
