Alan Tomes with ball attacks the English defence during the Scotland v England Five Nations rugby international at Murrayfield in February 1984. After beating England 18-6 to take the Calcutta Cup and beating Wales and then Ireland to win the Triple Crown, Scotland completed the Grand Slam by beating France 21-12.
