United Utilities have announced that untreated sewage, mixed with rainwater, was released into the sea due to a burst pipe and are asking the public not to swim or bathe in the water on the Fylde Coast. Fleetwood Wastewater Treatment Works on Jameson Road. Access to Fleetwood Marsh Nature Resrve has been closed.
